You do not have a predetermined purpose in life. You were not put on this planet for an specific reason. No, you make your own purpose. What you do is take the talents that the Commander in Chief upstairs gave you, and you use them to in a way that suits you the best.
There is no fate. Fate does not put you in good or bad situations; YOU put yourself in those situations.
While unexpected things may happen (the Universe strives towards randomness...entropy...things are going to happen), you determine whether that situation is good or bad.
You are in control of your own destiny.
